About Us

The first KSHYC was held in June of 1994. Todd and Marla Hurst had felt it on their hearts for over 2 years that God would have them start a Holiness Youth Camp in Kansas. It was not easy the first year. There was no guaranteed financial backing and no guarantee that anyone would even show up. But the campers did come, the finances came in, and most importantly, God came and met with us.

Since then we have had KSHYC every June and it has now become a tradition for many churches.

In 2019, the camp was organized under a Board of Directors, and Zane Hurst, Todd and Marla’s son, was elected the new Youth Camp Director.
